Book Nook –  Author of the Week – Marissa Meyer

Marissa Meyer is a 32 year old,  American Author born in the United States on February 19th, 1984. She, her husband, and adopted twin daughters, live happily together in Tacoma, Washington.

When she was young, she says that she has wanted to be an Author ever since she knew that such a job existed. She also says that one of her first spoken words was “story”, along with “bath” and “cookie”.

Typically, Marissa Meyer writes Young Adult Sci-Fi books. She has written a total of seven books, and of those her most popular being the “Lunar Chronicles” series. There is a review of the first book, “Cinder” on the Book Nook home page. I myself have read the series and find it quite entertaining.

In the LHJ library, we have the entire Lunar Chronicles series, Cinder, Scarlet, Cress, Fairest, Winter, and Stars Above.

Her other book that we don’t have in our library is called Heartless.
