Over Coming Fear

Fear can be a very useful emotion. It’s the red flag that goes up when we are in real danger, for instance when we are dangerously close to the edge of a cliff. But fear can also be very destructive. it can stop is from being everything we are meant to be, from doing the right thing, from moving forward in life and making our dreams come true. Henry David once said: ” Nothing is so much to be feared than fear itself”. So next time your afraid of something, ask yourself this: What am I really afraid of? If you can’t figure it out alone, talk to someone you trust. Try to get to the bottom of your fear so you can determine if it’s a warning flag or simply a big stumbling block along the path of life. Remember, the energy we put into our fears can be rechanneled into positive thinking.
