This Saturday, 8 student athletes will represent Lincoln Junior High and compete in 10 events at the Indiana middle school State track and field meet for the first time.  There are a total of 139 teams that will be competing in 21 different events in the boy and girl divisions. The meet will feature a combined 6th through 8th grade format.  Here is the event list of your Lincoln athletes that they will be competing in.

Lincoln Junior High State meet participants:

Amaya Ameling: 4x400m relay

Brighton Bird: 200m,400m,4x400m relay

Kyleigh Weiler-Kara: 4x400m relay

Isaiah Navejar: 200m hurdles

Sydney Rice: Shot Put and Discus

David Schadek: High Jump

Summer South: 100m, 4x400m relay

Aumrie Weiss: 100m hurdles, 200m hurdles, 4x400m relay

Qualified but unable to attend:

Lennon Creighbaum: 200m hurdles

Alexis Rose: Discus

Jadyn Beran: 100m, 200m

This year’s squad put in hard work throughout the season and our state meet qualifiers will represent the entire team Saturday.  Meet results will be uploaded LIVE to during the meet.  The top 8 finishers in each event will score points for their respective team and will receive a custom medal.  Lincoln has several athletes that are seeded in Indiana’s top 10 and have a great opportunity to bring home some hardware for the Lincoln team.
